Legal Counsel

Jakub is a legal counsel with extensive experience in tax advisory.

For nearly 10 years, he has been advising entrepreneurs on tax and business matters. Throughout his career, he has worked with both Polish family-owned businesses and international corporations. He was responsible for building and leading a team of tax specialists at one of the largest law firms in Poland.

He successfully delivers projects in the areas of transfer pricing, tax planning, and tax reliefs. His goal is to support entrepreneurs in achieving optimal and secure tax settlements. He does so by taking a comprehensive approach to analysing the Client’s legal structure and tax position. The solutions he proposes are based on safe and lawful-yet advantageous-mechanisms available under Polish tax law (such as family foundations, the “Estonian CIT” regime, and tax incentives). He is also well-versed in matters related to WHT, MDR, and corporate income tax compliance.

During his professional career, he has cooperated with entrepreneurs and finance teams across a wide range of industries. For example, Jakub has advised Clients in the manufacturing, transport, pharmaceutical, real estate development, metal, and services sectors.

Selected projects:
  • preparation and implementation of a transfer pricing policy for shared services of a temporary employment agency;

  • reorganisation of the legal and business structure of an entrepreneur operating a retail grocery chain, including succession planning and private wealth management aspects;

  • settlement of tax reliefs for businesses in the food and metal industries.
